Kat Zhang is the founder and creative director of The Suburbs Studio, a makeup artistry and creative management company. She leads a team of skilled hair and makeup artists and is deeply committed to training and mentoring emerging talents in the industry.
Celebrity Spotlights
Kat has worked with a range of international stars, including Charlie Puth, Gracie Abrams, Rebecca Armstrong, Diego Luna, Elijah Woods, and Sophie Ellis-Bextor. She was the makeup artist for Charlie Puth and hairstylist for Gracie Abrams during the Singapore stop of their world tours.
She also served as the hair and makeup artist for Diego Luna and Denise Gough at the Star Wars Celebration in Japan. In 2024, Kat was the hair and makeup artist for Yoon Jong Bin at the Disney APAC Content Showcase, and for Charlotte Brändström at Amazon Prime’s Rings of Power launch event.
